Ian is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and started his career at Tulsa Wealth Advisors | Raymond James in May 2008. As a financial planner, Ian’s goal is to make financial planning an easy, informative and engaging process. Ian works with clients in and around the Tulsa area and virtually with clients all across the United States.

Ian helps young professionals in their 20s, 30s and 40s navigate the complex financial world in which we live by creating a realistic, personalized plan designed to meet their goals.

For professionals in their 50s and 60s, Ian works with them as they prepare for and enter into retirement. During this stage, there are many decisions and trade-offs to consider.

In retirement, Ian helps retirees establish a retirement income plan, including a coordinated Social Security strategy, and plan for longevity in retirement which could last 30 years or more.

As you move through life, there are events you can plan for such as buying a home, having children, paying for their educations and weddings, and having enough money for a comfortable retirement.  There are also life events that may present unexpected challenges such as the loss of a loved one, divorce, health issues, or career changes. Regardless of what you may be experiencing, a financial plan can give you more control so that, regardless of what life throws at you, life doesn’t take you – or at least your finances – by surprise.

In addition to earning his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, Ian also earned a Financial Planning Certificate from the College of Financial Planning and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Oral Roberts University.

When not in the office, Ian enjoys spending time with his wife, Erica and two sons, Tyler and Finn. Ian also enjoys spending time with friends at the lake, camping, cycling, and serving at their church, The Church at South Tulsa.
